"Everyone is in love with their own ideas."
- Carl Jung
The way in which you record your ideas can have a huge impact on your creativity.
Creativity requires tools that disinhibit the brain to allow creativity to happen. This is the reason why the simple notebook has always been an indispensable tool of the creative even today in a world of note-taking apps and software — they are distraction-less, easy to use and to carry.
Sometimes though, the creative can think faster than they can write their ideas down, so recording them is a great way to make sure they don’t get lost among the plethora of imaginative thoughts (sometimes they can get lost and forgotten about as quickly as they arrive).
Nowadays, most of us carry a phone with us most of the time on which we can record our ideas. Voice recording is easy and immediate, almost like having an electronic secretary in your pocket.
Try recording any ideas that come into your head using your phone/tablet.
Use a voice recording app if you wish, where you can quickly record your ideas, save them and access them later.
Find one that provides ease of use and that suits the individual project/ideas that you have.
